WORKER’S
COMPENSATION
If you are injured while working, you are entitled to payment of your
medical expenses and wage loss benefits, depending on the amount of time the
doctor disables you from returning to your job. Worker’s compensation benefits are mandated and regulated
under state law.
If you were injured while working, report the injury to your supervisor
and ask to go to a doctor. Tell the doctor how you were injured and ask for a
work disability excuse. Under
worker’s compensation you are entitled to benefits regardless of how the
injury occurs.
