CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a disorder of the hands and wrists.  It is often caused by jobs that require repetitive hand use such as factory assembly and computer keyboard  work. People who use vibrating tools, like jackhammers, chain saws or dental instruments are also susceptible to the disorder.

The symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome can include wrist or hand pain, hand weakness with a tendency to drop things, loss of hand sensitivity to heat and cold and a sense of swelling in the hands even if your  hands may appear perfectly normal.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome can become worse over time.  Without proper treatment a person could lose the use of their hands.
