AUTOMOBILE
ACCIDENT CLAIMS
Under Michigan’s No-Fault
Statute enacted in 1973, individuals injured
in Michigan automobile accidents are entitled to reimbursement of their medical,
prescription, wage loss, mileage and other related expenses regardless of who
caused the accident. The catch is
that you cannot collect damages for pain and suffering unless you meet certain
requirements.
The no-fault law is very complicated and difficult to understand.
It is often hard to know how to fill out the Application for No-Fault
Benefits and deal with the insurance company. If your expenses are not properly
submitted and paid by the insurance company within one year from the date they
are incurred, you need to sue the insurance company to get your benefits paid.
We work with automobile accident victims every day.
